The app is free. Send photos in original size, files and the clipboard straight to your computers – on your Wi-Fi, without cables and without detours through messengers.

How to install the app

1. On your phone, tap “Download the app” and open the file.
2. The first time, Android asks whether your browser may install apps: tap “Settings”, turn on “Allow from this source”, go back and tap “Install”. If Google Play Protect asks, choose “Install anyway”.
3. Open Copy 42, tap “Connect device” and choose your computer. Copy 42 must be running on the computer (download for Windows and Mac).

Good to know

• Phone and computer must be on the same Wi-Fi, with Copy 42 open on both.
• The app is coming to the Google Play Store soon. Until then, new versions are available here.
• A visitor or customer? Choose “as a guest” when connecting: files only, with this one device only, never the clipboard. One swipe left and the guest is out.
• The app collects no data and shows no ads. Everything stays on your network (privacy).
