Transfer photos from phone to PC
Hunting for a cable, tapping “File transfer” – or sending the photos through a messenger, where they arrive shrunk? With Copy 42 you pick photos and videos in the app, and they go straight over your Wi-Fi to your Windows PC or Mac. In full original quality or as a smaller JPG.

Pick and send
Tap the PC, choose “Photos”, tap a size – done. On the PC they land in Downloads › Copy 42.
tap – and off it goes
From the gallery works too: select photos, then “Share” › Copy 42.
Original quality or JPG
In Original your photos arrive bit for bit, without shrinking – unlike in a messenger. If you need smaller files, choose Large, Medium or Small: the app then converts the photos to JPG as it sends them – Large at 4K size, Medium at Full HD. The date taken is kept, the location is removed.
Videos, files and folders too
Videos work just like photos, even long ones. PDFs and other files you pick via “Files”, whole folders via “Folder”. You can select many photos at once and send them to several computers at the same time; if the Wi-Fi drops, Copy 42 carries on from the same point.
And from PC to phone
It works the other way round too: drag photos onto the Copy 42 window on the PC and tick the phone. If the app is open on the phone, photos and videos appear in the gallery in the “Copy 42” album. Other files are in Download › Copy 42.
What Copy 42 is not: not a photo backup. Copy 42 doesn’t sync your whole gallery by itself – you choose what goes across. And it only works when phone and PC are on the same Wi-Fi.
